Her practice is a dedicated exploration of emotion, vulnerability, and the complexities of mental health, working across metal, glass, and found materials to create sculptural objects and wearable forms.
Guided by an intuitive, process-driven approach, she allows material behavior to shape form and translate internal landscapes into tactile "poetic fragments."
After attending fashion school in Amsterdam and expanding her glass work at UrbanGlass, she established her studio in the Lower East Side.
Naea is the founder of ZEEGRIJS, a platform through which she extends her sculptural language into functional and collectible design.
